7 New Poseboxes Hit Blue Lake
Well, 7 new poseboxes and this AMAZING set of OMSPs. I feel like I have so many options now that I won't be able to keep track of anything. I've even started a running log of posebox notes. But anyway, here are a few pictures of today's experiments, modeled by Kvornan and Elise.

Man, I LOVE the new pose boxes! I have WAY too many in my game that I just fiddle with! Those shots are amazing by the way! I especially like the 8th and 9th one.

ReplyDeleteI made another discovery while I was taking these photos- The mesh on the dress that Elise is wearing is wack-ass! It doesn't bend at the knee! What is up with that? I've never seen a dress do that. How is the sim supposed to sit?
I thought about you yesterday because my boyfriend was asked to join an Irish pub band. It brought you to mind with your Riverdance and your celtic music. :D
Yes, yes they are! I'm still trying to figure out what poses do what and then sometimes when I layer them I get a new pose and...well you know! LOL! I started writing them down too!

I have some Celtic music on my MP3 player and an officer at work was going through it seeing my songs and he was like what?! O_o Of course when he saw Ozzy and Nirvana all was forgiven in his book! *rolls eyes*
LOL Will do! I'd just have to convince the band to let me record at one of their practices.

Yeah I think (but I'm not certain) that you have to register with the SimsCave in order to download. That's why I didn't provide a direct link to the thread with the poseboxes.
ReplyDeleteBut yeah, they have like 15 poseboxes under Sharing Area/Hidden/Asian Sites Stuff. And that's where I downloaded these. :)
After you register, you would sign-in and hit the "forum" button on the menu bar under the site banner.
EDIT: Most of the boxes are under "Gamesir" which is a subcategory of "Asian Sites Stuff".
ReplyDeleteARGH! What is it about Poseboxes and always discovering you needed them YESTERDAY??? Oh well I have needed "carrying limp bodies" poses before, I am sure I will need them again. Limp bodies FTW!
ReplyDeleteI got four or five before I ran across a whole bunch of photobucket bandwidth limit exceeded poseboxes. How boring is that? So now I'm like "Do I download them blindly?" :-D
Yeah, I noticed those too and contemplated the blind download but didn't go through with it. Maybe I should. If the boxes aren't usable, I could always just delete them. Plus there's the added excitement of the mystery box. I wonder what's insssiiiidddeeee.

Did you find the posebox with the whisper crawl thing? I think it was one of Berry's Luv-Luv poseboxes.
I just did the blind download... is that bad? :-o
ReplyDeleteOne or two of them must have had sword poses in them since there a sword credit at the end.
I don't recall a luv-luv posebox nor do I seem to have one in my downloads. *goes off to look...*
I found the luv-luv boxes and a metric crapton of other ones. My Sims will never move again! They will simply go from pose to pose! :-D (They don't eat or pee anymore anyway. They won't miss breathing.)

ReplyDeleteThere were 2 luv-luv poseboxes posted somewhere on that thread. The one I have is yellow with pink and white hearts.
My only quarrel with these boxes is that there's no snap reset. What if I forget what pose the sim is in?? Luckily, I've taken notes so it won't be too much of a guessing game.
My favorite so far is the one with the picture of three scary little boys on a school bus. It includes a full split, something that looks very distinctly like a crossing guard guiding traffic and a push-glasses-up-on-nose thingy.
There was one with a flip-off pose. I hope I downloaded that one.
