Uhhh quick question- Does the new banner look really dark for any of you? It looks spiffy on my home computer but when I looked at it today on my screens at work, it was pretty dark. And seeing as how it will probably be up for a while (considering how long it takes me to write ten chapters), I thought I'd ask.
My Mac is pretty dark and the banner picture looks fine to me. The title text is rather dim and low-contrast though... maybe that's what gives you the impression that it's dark overall? It's fine though -- the picture is what we're looking at. :-D
ReplyDeleteBanner looks good to me! :P
ReplyDeleteHmmmm. Maybe I should brighten the whole thing over all? That might make the lettering stand out more. If it's dark on my work monitors (like the whole image = difficult to see) then it's bound to be dark for other people as well. My macbook has a pretty bright screen... I dunno. I'll fool around with it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the feedback, Meryt!
Thanks, Phoenix! hehe I imagine that you have a pretty kick-ass machine with a fairly bright monitor. I would run the risk of making it too bright for folks like youze. I'll fiddle a bit.
ReplyDeleteHow 'bout now? Hunh hunh hunh?
ReplyDeleteI dunno...are certain areas supposed to be brighter than the others? The lettering is better though!:P It's a pretty header though!
ReplyDeleteYep! There should be a black border, dark top strip, bright eye area, then dim rest-of-the-image area.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely better.
ReplyDeleteSupa!
ReplyDeleteLooks lovely :)
ReplyDeleteIs that Jack with Elise there? I've been wondering when those two were going to meet.
Thanks, Van!
ReplyDeleteYes, that is indeed Jack and Elise. Although, they don't meet until much later. Probably somewhere around chapter 85. I can't confirm for certain until I get home. But yeah, my banners decidedly do not foreshadow what you will be seeing in the chapters that they perch above. I gave up on that a long time ago. :p
