I've never understood the painting animation. The sim drops down a few random lines, then an image starts to blossom on the canvas. It's like the sim is growing a painting.
I think this one is entitled, "Disproportionate Young Girl Reading A Letter Makes For A Boring Painting".
Kvornan has a lovely paint-by-numbers style...
