Say, is Tara the crown princess? Or can only men inherit the throne? Or does she have an older sibling of either gender who will?
Tara is not the crown princess but she came very close. Her twin sister Devi is. In this case, it's age that matters, not gender. Devi was born an hour and a half before Tara.
Tara and Devi also have an older brother and sister (Puck and the most unfortunately named Bottom) but they were both adopted so the throne is not theirs for the inheriting.
Had Tara and Devi not been born (since indeed, they were accidents) then Puck would have been next in line.
