I wish I had time to play the game! I pretty much just use the game for pictures now. It runs really slowly, particularly on larger lots. I'm thinking about installing it on my boyfriend's fancy new computer so that I can just play it for fun. Do you ever get a chance to play? I've never even sent a kid to college!
ReplyDeleteI have the intentions to play Aerilis in rounds while doing the story. I also play the Sims on my laptop where I'm doing a prosperity challenge (using Sense and Sensibility surnames and old English names, squee). It's hard to play the game on my desktop -- where Aerilis is -- because my CD drive is wonky and won't read the disc much. :/

ReplyDeleteQuestion about Angela Goth. I remember in the default Pleasantview of Maxis creation, she was dating Dustin Broke. Did that happen in the distant past of your Pleasantview, or no? I'm sure it doesn't affect the story at all, I'm just curious.
I wish I could draw a picture for you. Her nose is like a ski-slope. Enoch's nose does this too.
ReplyDeleteA perfectly valid question and this is what happened- When I was playing the game, I didn't play the Brokes as frequently as I did everyone else. So they didn't end up aging at the same rate. As a result, the Brokes are still pretty young in the story. Dustin is only 28, Beau is only 17 and their younger sibling was never born. Consequently, Angela and Beau have never met and probably never will.
