Family Tree Update In Three Acts

I.

So TribalPages had been threatening to poke me in the eye for the past three years if I didn't up the security of my tree. It finally got to the point where it refused to let me make any changes to the tree until I put the stupid thing behind a password wall, thereby protecting the identities of 450ish fictional characters. The password is Pleasantview (not case sensitive). If you get to the tree and happen to forget the password, the vague hint printed beneath the password field should jog your memory.

II.

Over the past few days, I have added 40+ names to the family tree, mostly related to the Capp family. I have also changed the colors on the tree (ooo! ahhh!) and updated the text a little. The descriptions were a little Pleasantview-centric and the story is extending its tendrils into other places.

Pleasantview: Now More Incestuous Than Ever

Whoah! Check out this family tree from GenenSims! MadameMim did a little digging when creating her neighborhood populated by the Pleasantview ancestors and discovered certain familial links that I will update on my own family tree as well. But check it out! Beau is distant cousins with both Laurie and Adelaide. It doesn't impact on the story a whole lot (*sigh of relief*) but it is fascinating to see. The maiden names listed on this tree open up more family tree avenues as well. This is so cool!

It only just occurred to me that my family tree software may not allow for same sex marriages/partnerships. So I fiddled around with it and indeed, it does not allow for same sex partnerships. 

I can't quite figure out whether or not this is going to be a minor snafu.

The Family Tree is finally complete!! Yay!!!! Or at least, I think it's complete. I hope I haven't left anyone out.

And of course, eventually there will be additions as more people are born. There are a couple of pregnancies in Pleasantview right now. The first to give birth should be Meadow Riley (formerly Meadow Thayler, Cathy's mother).

About the Brokes: You'll notice that Beau and Dustin are younger than they should be. This was done for story purposes. Also, Brandi aborted her third pregnancy. A few of the names have been changed, as per usual.

About the Lothario and Pleasant family trees: A couple of the names have been changed. While I let "Les Pleasant" slide, I just couldn't see "Kinda Pleasant" happening in a believable world. "Mama Lothario" was also  changed. The assumption is that the characters were still called "Mama" and "Kinda" as nicknames. If they are ever referred to in the story (though I currently have no plans to mention them), they may well be called "Mama" and "Kinda". I let Flamenco and Tango keep their names as well (on a whim, really).

About the Caliente family tree: You'll notice that no aliens appear. While there will be other supernatural elements to the story later on, assume that aliens do not exist (for within the confines of Blue Lake, aliens indeed do not exist).
